Welcome to the online gallery of the Museum of New England Art, Craft, and Design, MoNEA. This website is the first step in the long term process of Deerfield Valley Art Association, a Massachusetts 501 (c) 3 non-profit corporation, creating a new museum destination in Franklin County in western Massachusetts.
The mission of The Museum of New England Art, owned and managed by Deerfield Valley Art Association, is to establish a permanent home for the organization's history and its current and future members, and to acquire, preserve, exhibit, and promote the art, craft, and design created by individuals born or working significantly in the six New England states.
Through its growing collections, exhibitions, public programs, publications, educational activities, and special events, the museum will connect current and future generations with the rich creative heritage of New England.
This mission will be augmented by cooperation and collaboration with federal, state, and local public and private educational, social, and cultural organizations.
